4. Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd does not promise that products are necessarily available, and all products are offered for sale subject to availability. The price of the products shall be the price listed on the website on the date of your order (inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which are payable by you). All prices displayed on the website are quoted in UK pounds sterling and must be paid in full, including delivery charges, except where discounts are offered as detailed on the website.

While we try and ensure that all prices and details on our website are accurate, errors may occur. Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd does not accept liability for any errors and omissions and reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order.

5. No contract for the sale of any product will subsist between you and Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd until Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd dispatches the product(s) ordered.

6. You agree that e-mail can be used as a long-distance means of communication.

7. Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd will not pass on your personal or credit or debit card details to any third party.

8. You undertake that all details you provide to Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct and that the credit or debit card you are using is your own.

9. If there are any changes to the details supplied by you, it is your responsibility to inform Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd as soon as possible.

10. In the unlikely event that you receive goods which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd shall, at its own option, make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods, or refund to you the amount you paid for the goods in question and the postage costs provided that you notify Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd of the problem within 14 working days of delivery of the goods.

11. Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd aims to arrange delivery of all in stock items within 2 weeks of receiving your order. The period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order. All products will be delivered to the address that you indicate on your booking form and risk of damage to or loss of the products shall pass to you at the time of delivery even if the products have not been received by you in person.

Any times quoted for delivery are approximate only and time shall not be of the essence. Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the products howsoever caused.

Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd shall confirm each order in writing by sending you a printout of the order along with your products.

12. Fraud and Delivery Address  - In order to protect against fraud we reserve the right to insist that we post items to the billing address of the credit card holder. We do check the address you give on your order before posting your goods to you. In the event that we have agreed a delivery address with you which is not the billing address, for example at your place of work, or at a friend’s or neighbour’s address, delivery to you will be deemed to have taken place on a signature being received at that address. Similarly if, at your request, you have given us specific delivery instructions which our courier follows, such as hiding an item in a specific place whilst you are out, it is your responsibility to make sure that you are happy with the security of any address, location or person to which you have asked us to deliver.

13. Cancellation and Returns  -Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd wants you to be totally satisfied with your order but if you would like to cancel your order and return the products you must do so in writing (by email, fax or post) within 7 working days after receipt of the order, enclosing or attaching a copy of your order confirmation and your reasons for returning them.

Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd will confirm any cancellation by email and will repay to you the full cost of the order (including the cost of products and delivery) within 30 days after receipt of your cancellation. We will not refund the costs of return postage to us unless the products are faulty. All goods that you intend to return must be kept in good condition whilst in your possession up to and including the point of delivery to us. Full credit card details will be required for all refunds. These may be enclosed with the return or can be provided by phone on the above contact number. Refunds will only be made to the credit card used to place the original order. 

14. Chiltern Open Air Museum Enterprises Ltd. terms and conditions of sale may be changed. Please review them regularly. If you continue to use the website after a change has been made you are deemed to have accepted it.

If any of these terms or conditions of sale should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted and the remaining terms and conditions shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable
