As a Friend of the Museum your subscription offers you unlimited free entry to the Museum during the season to enjoy our beautiful buildings, visit our farm animals and take a stroll around the woodlands. Your membership also allows you to take advantage of all of the amazing range of special events on offer this year for the price of 2.5 adult visits to the Museum!

The Friends of Chiltern Open Air Museum is an active and thriving organisation, founded to support the Chiltern Open Air Museum. We currently have over 1000 members including 180 life members. Subscriptions, donations, proceeds from special events and the Friends Centre shop all help to provide vital funds for the Museum.

We play a vital role in helping to raise awareness of the Museum through our attendance at local fetes and fairs throughout the summer periods. The Friends organise a number of our own special events throughout the year to help raise funds for the Museum, as well as a series of winter talks on historical themes for the members. We also help contribute activities to Museum special events and our Friends Centre, the attractive Maidenhead Pavilion is one of the first buildings to greet visitors as they enter the Museum.
