Why Chiltern Open Air Museum?
|
Set
in rural Buckinghamshire near the beautiful villages of Chalfont
St. Giles and Chalfont St. Peter, Chiltern Open Air Museum houses
a fascinating collection of historic buildings that have been
rescued from neglect and demolition and then re-erected in 45
acres of parkland and woodland.

These buildings range from a 1940s prefab to a Victorian
Farm and a replica Iron Age House.
A walk around the Museum's site offers a chance to step back in
time in a relaxing and spacious environment.
Signposted from Maple Cross (close to Junction
17 of the M25) and from the A413 between Chalfont St Giles and Chalfont St Peter, Chiltern Open Air Museum is in a rural but accessible
location. Click here for maps and more information about how to get to the Museum.
