Halloween Spectacular event

Chiltern Open Air Museum’s famous Halloween Spectacular returns on Friday 1st November.

Our Halloween event is the big finale to our open season. At this year’s event we’ll be introducing a special new fire act and they’ll be a bonfire to add to the atmosphere!

Our buildings will be spookily decorated and there will be games, activities and sweets inside them.

Our barns will be filled with craft activities, there will be spooky story telling for both older and younger audiences, marshmallow toasting and of course both our spooky and not so spooky woodland walks.

The annual fancy dress competition will be taking place and we look forward to seeing all your fabulous costumes.

This is an unmissable evening of spooky fun for all ages in the very unique and atmospheric setting of the Museum’s historic buildings and woods. This year the event will be part of Culture 24’s Museums at Night.
