Join us for a Home Ed Learning Day with a Literacy theme to celebrate World Book Day 2020.
We will be celebrating the joy of reading through a selection of different texts and interactive activities.
There will also be lots of opportunities for your children to explore our historic spaces and step back in time.
We will have an author in residence for your children to meet and talk to, chances to enjoy listening to story-telling and engage in some creative writing, and a variety of workshops and activities that make links with the following: Little Red Hen, Goldilocks, Three Little Pigs, Wolf Brother and Goodnight Mr Tom.
To help children engage with our rescued and restored buildings, we will offer a variety of hands-on, authentic activities. Some of these will be led by costumed interpreters to help your child enjoy an immersive experience. Your child is welcome to visit in costume.
There will be a series of timed and drop-in sessions to enjoy. We do ask that your child is supervised at all times during activities around the site.
