22nd – 23rd April
Come and meet the gorgeous spring lambs born at the Museum and explore our traditional Chilterns farm and lambing fold. Learn about the lambing traditions of the Victorian Chilterns in our historic working farm and get involved in fun family craft activities.
In celebration of St George’s Day on Sunday 23rd April we are offering any child that visits the Museum in a Cubs, Beavers, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies or Guides uniform free admission to the Museum. (They must be accompanied by a full paying adult. Groups must be pre-booked. Offer applies to visits on Sunday 23rd April 2017 only).
The Museum runs Heritage Lottery Funded Site and Farm Traineeships. You can read more about our trainees experiences on the Museum farm and lambing on our Museum blog.
Please note that our farm is run using historic farming methods and our lambs are reared traditionally this means that they are not bottle fed.
