It can be tough finding activities to keep the children entertained throughout the school holidays. So on every Bucks school holiday Tuesday throughout the Museum’s open season the Museum’s Education team have created special themed family activities, games and crafts all for the standard admission price!
If you’d like to attend multiple Terrific Tuesdays (there will be 9 during the 2017 season), and Museum events then you can purchase an Annual Pass which costs £30 per adult, £18 per child and family pass prices start from £65.
On Tuesday 31st July find out about the importance of the Cherry Harvest in the Chilterns. Take part in a number of activities linked with the Cherry Harvest and visit our own Cherry Orchard.
Discover how communication has changed over time. Take part in our story book inspired trail, enjoy craft activities and participate in communication games with the Air Cadets.
Join us and discover the great outdoors around our site and woodlands. Take part in a plant and flower trail, have a go at shelter building, try out pond dipping and do some cooking in our woodlands.
To celebrate the centenary of World War One join us for this war time themed Tuesday and enjoy a range of activities linked to World War One and World War Two.
Are you brave enough to join us for this terrible day? Have a go at dissecting (fake!) poo to discover what people used to eat, take part in a witch trail, make witch pots to put a hex on your enemies, learn how to identify animal poo, visit our alchemist and do your best to wash our dirty nappies!
We recommend that you bring a carrier bag with you so that you can take home all the wonderful crafts and creations that you have made.
Please note that Tesco Clubcard vouchers cannot be used for Terrific Tuesdays.
