Knitting is a traditional craft that has been dated back to the 11th century in Eygpt. During WWI men, women and children knitted large volumes of clothing and accessories to help with the war effort making socks, scarves, sweaters, hats and balaclavas for the troops.
Join us for our special Wild About Wool knitting event and have a go at different types of traditional knitting and crochet. Discover different types of wool and help solve your knitting conundrums by talking to our friendly experts.
This event is suitable for all ages and levels, from beginners to experienced knitters.
All activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
