A great day out in the countryside for families
The Museum is a great family day out in Buckinghamshire. The large 45 acre site nestled in the beautiful Chilterns countryside has 35 historic buildings to run around and explore. Children and adults can have fun dressing up in vintage clothes, meeting the farm animals and playing with historic toys and games.

Go for a walk along the Museum’s woodland trail see if you can spot the sculptures, bodgers hut and bird hide hidden in the woodland.

Every Thursday in the summer holidays from the 26th July – 30th April we will have traditional artists and crafts people demonstrating on our site and children aged over 5 years have the opportunity to take part in Arts Award Discover. Find out more

Experience days and courses
