Prices and Opening Times Chiltern Open Air Museum in Buckinghamshire

Opening Dates

From Saturday 9th March 2024 until 31st October 2024.

We are open from 10am to 5pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays and daily throughout the Bucks School Holidays.

*We will be closed on Monday 20th May for a private booking.*

Bucks School Holiday Dates

  • Easter: 29th March to 21st April

  • Whitsun: 25th May to 2nd June

  • Summer: 22nd July to 8th September

  • Autumn: 26th October to 31st October

  • We will be open on Friday 1st November from 5pm until 9pm for our ticketed Halloween Spectacular

  • We will also be open for a special Christmas Weekend on the 7th and 8th December.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid* The Museum is a charity and all admission prices include a voluntary donation of 10%. If you are a UK tax payer please tell our ticket officer that you are happy for the Museum to claim Gift Aid on your admission. Gift Aid donations to the Museum allow us to claim an extra 25% from the government on the total amount that you pay to us, at no extra cost to you.
