An fun and engaging location for Scout and Youth Club excursions
Chiltern Open Air Museum provides an enjoyable and inclusive day out for children and young people where everyone will learn something new. Our 45-acre countryside site with over 30 historic buildings gives children the freedom to explore the past through visual and hands-on experiences, as well as providing the space to run around, have fun and hold a picnic.
Our fun pre-bookable activities promote sharing, the use of tools, team work and creativity.
For groups of 10 or more paying visitors:
- Adults: 1 adult for every six children FREE, additional adults £6 each
- Children (aged 4 to 16 years old): £6.00
- Children under 4 years old: FREE
- Activity workshops and demonstrations: £60.00 each (for up to 30 people)
During 2018, we are holding two late evening openings for pre-booked uniformed groups. Find out more
