Christmas School Workshop

How we used to celebrate Christmas

In this traditional Christmas school workshop children will learn how we celebrated Christmas in the past. Children will Join in with Christmas poetry (KS1) or a story (KS2) reading inside our decorated Victorian toll house. They will create a Christmas pudding inside our 18th century cottage using traditional cooking methods, they will be able to stir the pudding and make a wish. They will also attend a Victorian Christmas school or take part in a Christmas Craft barn. Schools can then choose to make greenery salt dough or 1940/1970 style decorations to take back to school.

A large cardboard box for transport will be essential.
