Useful Information

  • We advised to pre-book your ticket in advance. For our current 2024 prices please see our VISIT page

  • Alongside Skippings Barn we have ample picnic benches around the site should you want to bring your lunch.

  • Our site is large so there are always lots of quiet spots. If you want to visit at a quieter time we recommend visiting on a non-event day or on a special event day arriving between 10am and 11am when it’s always quieter. The site is always quieter after 2.30pm. Some events can be loud and include gunfire. You can check the events section of our website for full details of each event.

  • Buggies are welcome on site and there are ramps into most of our historic buildings. A few of our historic buildings are very small and will not accommodate a pram, but there is plenty of space to park them outside. Our paths are gravel and can get a little muddy in bad weather.

  • Baby changing facilities are located at our Bakerloo midsite toilets and Haversham granary toilets. Our Haversham toilets have booster steps to help little ones reach the sinks.
