22nd – 23rd July
Dear visitors and exhibitors:
Please note that the event will go ahead even if the weather is unkind! Please do come along and support the Museum, this event and all those who so kindly give up their time to display their beautiful vehicles.
Every July Chiltern Open Air Museum hosts a popular weekend celebration of classic vehicles. Come and admire an amazing collection of classic cars, lorries, traditional fire engines, motorcycles and historic bicycles. You will also be able to come and see a collection of historic tractors and wagons on our farm, which was once used for filming TV drama Downton Abbey.
If you own a classic vehicle, bring it along for a spin – even if you have not registered in advance, please come along on the day (preferably before 10am) to register and join the show. There is no cost to you but we do ask you consider giving us a donation for our charity.
Advance registration has now closed for this year’s event. You can still register on the day, registration opens from 8.30am each day. Entries after the 10th July have unfortunately not be included in our event brochure.
There will be a raffle on Sunday on the Museum’s picturesque Village Green, with all proceeds going to benefit the Museum’s valuable conservation work. The draw will be held at 3pm, and ticket holders must be present for the draw. The Museum would like to gratefully acknowledge the support of the following organisations who have provided prizes for this raffle:
Co-op, Chalfont St Peter
Van Hage, Chenies
Fego Café, Gerrards Cross
Sainsburys, Gerrards Cross
On Sunday, enjoy live acoustic folk music from local musicians on the Village Green.
