Arcade Games

Challenge friends and family on our classic arcade machines, featuring favourites such as Space Invaders, Big Buck Hunter, Strike a Light, and more. Whether you are chasing a high score or reliving childhood memories, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Board Games

Why not take things into your own hands with a go at some historic board games.

Where strategy, skill and a little luck take centre stage. Learn how games have evolved over time and try your hand at traditional favourites, such as Spy Ring and Kubb that have entertained families for generations.

Step Into Victorian Games

Step back into the 19th century with a selection of Victorian games, offering a glimpse into how people relaxed and socialised in the past. From simple amusements to curious challenges, these activities highlight the creativity of a pre-digital age.

Event Information

  • This is a Standard Admission Day

  • Free entry for COAM Annual Members

  • Activities take place between 10am and 5pm

  • For arcade machines there is a limited game time allowed per person

General Museum Information

With 45 acres at your disposal, there is plenty to explore, including woodlands and an exciting adventure playground

Dogs on short leads are welcome but must not go inside residential buildings

Light lunches, drinks, cakes and snacks are available to purchase from our Skippings Barn

Sensory backpacks are available to borrow (subject to availability)

Mobility scooters are available to borrow (subject to availability - pre-booking is advised)

Lots of free parking

Photography and filming may take place during this event for the Museum archives and publicity. These photographs and video footage may appear in promotional or educational materials including on our websites, social media pages, newsletters, or in newspapers and magazines. If you do not wish to be photographed, please speak to the photographer.
