Funding from The Finnis Scott Foundation for a New Toll House Fence

A small brick built toll house in the grounds of Chiltern Open Air Museum

‍We will soon be creating a new picket fence and wheelchair accessible gate around our Victorian toll house thanks to a grant of £2,834 from The Finnis Scott Foundation. The fence will be created by COAM volunteers using traditional methods, under the supervision of our Farm Manager, allowing them to develop new skills. Visitors will be able to see the fence being created in our green woodworking area.
